Wembley concert, what to wear? Coat?

I’m going to see Mika next month and have never been to Wembley in winter so looking for advice about what to wear. My outfit is a dress and blazer type jacket, but should I actually be swapping it for jeans and jumper, possible warm coat? I don’t know if I’m being daft by wondering if it isn’t as cold in among the crowds. We are standing in general admission so would rather not take a coat of if I can get away with it as no seat to dump it on. Travel to and from is fine as staying at the Premier Inn right by the stadium.

It's at the Arena. I went in December and it wasn't cold in there. I would wear jeans/trousers and a jacket and scarf you can tie round your waist.

Whenever I bring a coat to anything like this, I also bring a bin bag in my bag 😂 if I have to take coats off, they get lashed in a bin bag at our feet, to avoid spillages, dirty feet etc.

Did you think you’d be outside or something? As far as I know, they don’t do concerts at the stadium in winter and on the Mika tickets page it says OVO Wembley Arena. So I’d just wear what you’d wear to any old indoor concert. If you’re in unreserved standing, the bin bag idea for coats is genius!

If you’re at one of the Premier Inns by the arena you don’t need a warm coat. I would wear a layer I could take off and put in a bag or tie round my waist. I often take a plastic bag so I can put my top in it and put it on the floor or tie it to a crossbody bag.

Ah thought so! As you’ll be staying so close I’d even be tempted to leave coat at the hotel 😊

I might change my whole outfit plan now 🤣

In my defence I never had anything to do with ticket buying and was just told it was ‘at Wembley’ - I didn’t think to check the details

Be prepared for random strangers, asking if they can put their coat in your bing bag 😂 I now take 2 and offer them the second one 😂
