How do you pronounce these words- strength, length etc

Do you say them like

strenth and lenth
or
Streng-th and leng-th

im the latter, where you can hear the G

The latter, and hear it where they are placed (albeit softly) rolling into the 'th' sound.

the former, silent g, so similar to tenth

The second, you can hear the G.

Although actually it's more 'lenkth' and 'strenkth'....g sounds like a k.

I don’t sound the g like a c, but I say the ng sound. It’s not the same as without a g. It’s the same as in ‘sung’ as opposed to ‘sun’.

That's what I was just thinking.

Although I grew up in Essex where it would have been 'lenkf' and 'strenkf'. Moved away decades ago and lost that accent, but it still pops out now and then.

With a k sound for the g.

But then I pronounce all the Rs in February and say Wedənsday, as drummed into me at primary school in the mid-60s.
