Chat gpt has been useless.
I read a series of books years ago and have want to read the again, but can’t remember what they’re called.

It goes through the lives of a family who own a publishing house in London.
There’s are (I think) twin sisters and a brother, and an adopted (?) daughter from a very poor family.

There’s an aunt who works at the publishing house known as LM (think it stands for Little Margaret?).

Anyone know what this is?

Much Ado about Margaret?

GoatBusted · 19/01/2026 21:19

Sadly no.
It’s a whole series going through the lives of the family, with several books.

I would also like to say that I worked as a book publicist and my colleague was Penny’s publicist. I met her at a party and she was everything you would want her to be and more. Fantastic lady.

Definitely Penny Vincenzi.

If you liked it try also the Easter Trilogy by Beryl Kingston.
