Is this menopause?

Hi wise ones, my periods are all over the place and this last one I had was 8days of dark brown blood (no fresh at all) I’ve also been really dizzy and nauseous this week with a bit of a headache.
I Am 49
I have fibromyalgia
I have diabetes type 2
any ideas?

Probably perimenopause. My periods went a bit all over the place and I also started to get cyclical headaches and really really bad cramps...

Thanks for replying. How long did it last for you? I’ve had loads of symptoms that I’ve probably been putting down to fibromyalgia, but this dizziness is awful

I started on hrt because of anxiety (became overwhelming and unmanageable). It helped with the anxiety and general mood swings but didn't help with the cramps, headaches, etc until I switched to constant progesterone. If anything it made it worse because I got dragged into a four week cycle when I had been five weeks with some missing...

its A minefield isn’t it. So confusing when it could literally be any symptom and all symptoms could be something else, then you get side effects from meds supposed to help!
