Has anyone seen his recent statement on Instagram? I actually feel very sorry for him.

This is it

Would anyone know about Cruz music is V wasn’t constantly pushing it. Same as Brooklyns bad photo book.

Despite the boys being bad at them they are pushing the product. Some would say supportive. Others would say it gets clicks good or bad at the cost of humiliating the boys.

Yes they could but it is harder for them than us mere mortals. Because their parents didn’t prepare them for a regular working life. What other celebrity child has been raised in public like BB has then got a regular job?

For the record I don’t particularly like the bloke (not that I know him!) but to me it’s another case of growing up in a gilded cage.

I agree. Those who have gone on to live more normal lives are most likely not instantly recognisable, the way every Beckham kid has always been.

Does anyone else want to see the video of VB grinding on her son at his wedding 👀

Hell yeah!!!
And you can bet that every major tabloid and press editor is desperately trying to get hold of that footage as well.

Can someone explain the name thing to me ?

Bluedenimdoglover · 19/01/2026 20:06

Hmmm...Prince Harry springs to mind. What is is it with people? If he wants to be dignified about it and take the moral high ground, leave it there now.

Hardly damning. Of course they were always going to control the narrative.
Makes him sound like a petulant teenager rather than just setting the record straight

Yep. another way to read this is "Mum and Dad didn't feel my marriage would be good for the family business. I didn't care, so they were cross."

The only really odd bit is Victoria hijacking his wedding dance. Goes to show why you shouldn't drink on an empty stomach.

bathsmat · 19/01/2026 20:07

There’s people dying, children dying, in war stricken countries.. and we have people that have NO sense of how hard life can be.

and yet your arguing about it on MNs 😁

MidWayThruJanuary · 19/01/2026 20:07

Jesus - why does Harry have to be brought into this!!!

nicepotoftea · 19/01/2026 20:07

peacefulpeach · 19/01/2026 20:04

As Harry knows, it’s awful being a useless kid. Succeeding at very little. Never being as successful as your parents or sibling/s. It’s hard to take. It must be tough.

Whether or not Harry is 'useless' is completely irrelevant to whether he becomes King.

For many years we were just one fatal accident away from Andrew being on throne.

Multiple reports from May 2025 claim that during the reception, Marc Anthony invited Victoria Beckham on stage, calling her “the most beautiful woman in the room,” which allegedly left Nicola Peltz in tears. The gesture was reportedly intended as a friendly tribute to a longtime family friend, but it sparked speculation about family tensions and perceived favoritism.

Sounds like he’s ‘misremembered’

mumstheword1x · 19/01/2026 20:08

Playingvideogames · 19/01/2026 20:04

I think it’s a different kind of pressure.

If you grow up with A listers as godparents, every friend and acquaintance is famous and rich, you live in a guilded cage but occasionally peek out to see the judgement and ridicule of ‘everyone else’, it’s going to feel safer to stay where you are.

If Brooklyn got a job as a pub chef tomorrow
and lived in a normal house, he would still be hounded by the press and it’d be ‘the Beckham who failed to launch’ type stuff. He would probably have crazy people turning up at his door, he’s famous whether he wants to be or not. Look at Suri Cruise.

Regardless, there’s worse things happening in the world, while he’s tucked up in his mansion, it’s bad taste, in my opinion. He’s privileged.

LowdermilkPark · 19/01/2026 20:08

That’s really shocking.

I have always thought David, and especially Victoria, are entirely fake. Everything they do is staged and for publicity. They put their brand above everything else.

This serves them right.

The bit about Victoria taking over the wedding dance is simply excoriating.

On his story

I clicked on his profile pic but nothing came up

Zanatdy · 19/01/2026 20:08

I’m sure there’s some truth in there, but maybe not the whole story. Such as why did Victoria cancel the dress? Sure there’s a backstory. The Beckhams would be upset to find they are not on top table, sure that was quite upsetting for them. Who knows about the dancing. No-one really knows and the Beckhams seem to love their children, but maybe Posh was over taken by jealousy. Who knows. I always think it’s a shame when children cut off their parents, but there are always two sides to every story.

Gahr · 19/01/2026 20:08

mumstheword1x · 19/01/2026 20:05

He’s 26, if he didn’t like it - he could’ve separated himself from
his family at 18 years old, 8 years ago. He liked the rewards his surname got him when that was the finances he sponged off of.

I doubt his heiress wife would’ve looked at him twice if he wasn’t a Beckham, but because he is, he’s now married to a billionaires daughter, someone else’s payroll, let’s now turn on my parents, but still poses as Brooklyn Beckham.

There’s people dying, children dying, in war stricken countries.. and we have people that have NO sense of how hard life can be.

Oh, come on! You really expect an 18 year old, who is none too bright, to be able to do that? He had been groomed for fame his entire life, and it was the only world he knew. How many people recognize at age 18 the damage that their parents have done them? I am 42 and still figuring some things out.

IAmKerplunk · 19/01/2026 20:08

BeaLola · 19/01/2026 20:00

I expect Beckham PR are busy tonight

It will be interesting what they say , perhaps nothing and it will die away

I think this. The Beckhams won’t respond directly right now I don’t think.

Letsskidaddle · 19/01/2026 20:08

Good on him. It’s been clear for years that ‘Brand Beckham’ is just a facade. I’m glad he’s found the courage to speak out and appears to be happy with Nicola (and she with him) - I hope this lasts.

I can imagine the embarrassing first dance and recall people criticising VB for years for being ‘draped all over him’ in pictures, just as they criticise DB and him kissing Harper on the lips. The Beckham off-spring had an undeniably privileged upbringing but it didn’t appear healthy at all.

Alltheyellowbirds · 19/01/2026 20:08

TheignT · 19/01/2026 19:50

So they didn't have his parents on the top table, not unheard of but I think it is fairly mainstream to have parents there. I wonder where her parents were? I can imagine it being hurtful for one set of parents to be there and not the other. I can't see any mention of it.

I used to be a wedding planner. Pretty common for the parents to have their own tables, normallly situated in front so they can face the bride and groom.

Me neither

pouletvous · 19/01/2026 20:09

I wonder if “brand beckham” will respond!

m00rfarm · 19/01/2026 20:10

In a previous report it was clearly stated that the bride and groom had their first dance, then the bride and father. Later in the evening, when things were less formal, Victoria danced with Brooklyn and David danced with Harper. Goodness knows what is correct or not, but this was public knowledge back in May last year - and was supposedly from an interview with Brooklyn. So perhaps some of the other accusations are true, but with a pinch of salt.

Yes, I am not in the public eye.. it comes across like ‘aw feel sorry for me, I never have worry about lifting a finger, or paying a mortgage’ he isn’t in the real world and it shows. Now he’s married to a billionaire and doesn’t need mummy and daddies money, he can shout about it.
