What to do in my shoes

Hello all

A few times in the last few weeks I have had a knock on my door
Lady with clipboards looking for my neighbour she said she is from the national statistics agency and wants to know where he is

I was stumped the first time and said not sure

Recently I have not been answering to her

The gent is quiet
Works long hours
From overseas
Never causes problems

Should I pop a note in for him to tell him or stay out of it?

Tell her not to knock on your door again, or you'll report her for harassment. It's nothing to do with you and she should leave you alone.

Why would someone from the national statistics agency be looking for him?

She really rattled me and I wanted to tell her where to go

I said very little

I wonder if he didn't complete the last Census and after the fines they send somebody along with the survey?!

Either way, not for you to share his whereabouts even if you did know.

Odd

Why is she so persistent?

She knew his name!!

So maybe she is after him for something else?

Maybe just say nothing?
