Hi all my DC is 3YO and has a busy schedule. Pre school 4 days, one day with me and then Sat & Sun. Sat we are up early for swimming. Sun morn often go to the park etc. on our day off in the week we are out and about. She has some TV most but not all days - maybe 0 mins to an hour. We don’t let her have access to iPhone or shows when out. However Sunday pm we often have a chilled afternoon in and that involves playing but can involve a few hours of TV. At its worst 2-3 hours. I feel like I’m happy for her to have this rest time at the end of the week but does anyone think this is too much? Would like to just relax without worrying that we are being lazy 😂 do others do this Sunday pm?

your DC is getting enough non-screen entertainment so I wouldn’t worry at all. Big screens are fine in this house, it’s the little screens we worry about more.

What are you watching, is she watching or doing other stuff and sometimes watching ? Also is it all in one go or half an hour here and there ? I assume she’s not watching a 2 hour film and not moving from the sofa.

@currentlybrunette thanks ☺️ we have no portable screen time ie iPhones tablets etc it’s just the TV

@Snorlaxo to be honest she would sit and watch a show for 1.5 hours if tired
