Dash Cam - front and back - battery powered?

Hi! I would like to get a dash cam, front and back, for DD's car. We don't really want wires showing but it's quite expensive to have them installed. Are any run off batteries instead of being plugged into the car?

Any recommendations would be really appreciated.

They are available but not really viable for daily use as far as I'm aware. You can get heavy duty battery packs for them but that probably works out costing more than hard wiring. Don't go to Halfords, just Google auto electricians in your area. The cost of having it fitted is far outweighed by your peace of mind
