I remember watching a tv show about confection years ago and they said they had discovered that sweets in the shapes of anything do do with mouth, lips, teeth, dummies etc always sold really well and they don’t know why! I always thought that was quite interesting.

I’ve never thought about it, but yes! Who first pondered what to do with pink and white chocolate and thought… mice.

I think I’ve read somewhere that jelly babies were first marketed with an awful slogan about biting children’s heads off.
