Can Barclays not add up?

So I had £950 in my bank account I did a scan of a £200 check and went up to £1150. I transferred £200 and balance has gone down to £850. Surely it should still be £950. No other payment or pending payments that I can see.

the transactions clearly say plus £200 and then minus £200

Maybe there is something pending. I had this once and I could t see it . I bet tomorrow it will be clearer

Thank you. Hopefully that’s it. It’s just odd it’s a round £100 as I can’t think of anything pending. I’ll check tomorrow

Balance cleared funds £950
cheque in, balance £1150, cleared funds £950
transfer out £200, balance £950, I would expect the available balance to show cleared funds of £750
so I don’t know why it would show £850.

You didn't use the card to buy some petrol did you? Most garages take a "pre" payment of £100 which reduces your available balance, but which is then cancelled a day or two later. In the meantime the actual price of fuel bought, say £50, won't come off your balance until the next day when it goes through the system. That's all I can think has happened.

Very very unlikely that they are wrong, @Badbadbunny has made a good suggestion
