Ikos holidays (specifically aria)

Had a very tough last year. Tempted to splurge on a short haul holiday that we all feel spoiled.

ca see a few older threads on this, has anyone been to any of the resorts, especially aria and can comment. Trip advisor seems too good to be true so topping me to book. I feel like I trust mumsnetters more 😂

You’ll definitely feel spoiled at Ikos! ILiked Aria, although I think I liked Dassia more

We went to Olivia; it was nice but not worth the money in my opinion. We went to the Maldives for less, which was much more special.

Do they have proper branded alcohol included? Also are the ALA carte restaurants more? I don’t mind paying good money, but I like everything to be actually included

weve not done Aria but we only go to Ikos now. Nothing can compare in Europe, (for me anyway)

Moneynoob · 18/01/2026 11:28

@Puppalicious what were differences between two?

@RomeoRivers that sounds crazy. My dc probably classed as adults I think so price difference would be different (off to google now though) did really plan on short haul though

Yes and yes.

I even got bottles of spirits sent to the room and took them home!

Moneynoob · 18/01/2026 11:30

@babasaclover not been before but yes I think so. We are looking at deluxe room which states all international brands and champagne included?

Every Ikos resort is exceptional. The reviews are true. I wouldn’t touch any other all-inclusive but Ikos was excellent when my DC were younger. Everything was top-quality and not the ‘pile it high, sell it cheap’ quality of most all inclusives.

Deluxe is nice to have if you can afford it but by no means necessary and not worth stretching your finances for.

Make sure you pre book restaurants in advance as they do because different to book at short notice.

HolidayHappy123 · 18/01/2026 11:49

EVERYTHING is included except the spa. I even asked for specific brands of rum and gin in advance and there were full bottles in my room on arrival.

MsSquiz · 18/01/2026 11:53

We have been to Dassia 3 times.
all restaurants, room service and mini bars are included. You can request specific drinks in your mini bar - we’ve had chocolate milk cartons for the kids, specific wine for us, family requested no alcohol in their mini bar and they sourced alternative “grown up drinks” for them.

the staff cannot do enough to help and are so accommating, nothing is too much trouble.

we have visited other luxury all inclusive resorts and Ikos is just on another level

Moneynoob · 18/01/2026 12:01

BA have the best prices I can see and am going in! Thanks all for the replies

Sorry I meant odisia, not Dassia. The restaurants were more scenic that’s really the main thing, gorgeous mountains around. But then aria has old ruins in the middle which is pretty cool. Ikos/Sani definitely do spoil you for any other hotels!

That’s great and what I’ve had in the Turkish hotels I’ve been to. They put a whole bottle of gin in next to the minibar last time 😂

MsSquiz · 18/01/2026 20:58

At Dassia, I found a particular wine that I loved so ordered a bottle 2 days running to be in our room at 4ish so I could have a drink while getting the kids and us sorted for the evening. They then just had it ready every day at 4 for me!
