Go on a little local history trip. I’m so excited.

No lofty ambitions.... I'm going to go on my walking pad for the first time in 2 weeks. I've been too unwell up to now.

Reorganise the cutlery drawer.
Help DD with her jigsaw.
Wash more muddy rugby kit after Sunday games, Saturday kit is already in the washer!

Change the bedding.
plow on with the laundry.

Don’t get jealous now. 😆

Get through several loads of laundry and drying before the bearings in the machine finally give up

Order a new washer-dryer

Bake a cake

Sleep! Been in hospital for 3 days and feel dreadful. Had 10 hours sleep in total over the whole time I was in there, in about 20 minute increments, so got a lot of catching up to do!

Go for a run. I’m going to go upstairs right now and put on my kit and then I know I will do it.

After that I’m going to sort the greenhouse out and re sow my Chilis because I forgot about the first batch in the spare room and they died of thirst trying to reach the light (I am a murderess).

Take the Christmas decorations off the spare bed and put them back in the loft where they belong.

Go out to a pub for Sunday lunch with DH and some friends.

Attempt to write another chapter of my novel. I need to get it down on paper whilst it's still in my head.

Wash and refill the garden bird feeders, water the houseplants and then eat fish pie whilst watching the pottery challenge.

Lofty ambitions are not in abundance here today. Watching the tennis at the moment. This is likely to last most of the day. Will also walk dogs. That’s it. Bliss.

Picking up a life long friend (actually my innocent childhood "boyfriend") and his wife from the airport and taking them to do a food shop and to their airbnb. They are escaping the cold and snow in Canada, for a week of 28 degrees and sun and sand! We will leave them to it, unless they need anything, but will spend one beach day with them, then bring them home here for an evening bbq. I am so looking forward to it!

Clean the bathroom, visit my mum, finish knitting the last sleeve of my jumper, walk the dogs, cook dinner. First, coffee.

…probably go back to bed. I’m already exhausted, but just reading what you’re all up to today has worn me out even more! 😄

I might get dressed.

glass of wine tonight with dh

Following my One Shit Job a day project, today the cook books on the new shelves. Spare bed stripped ready for dd and bf coming on friday. Then can't decide whatever to clean fridge or two kitchen crap cupboards.
How like the home life of our own dear queen.

Sunday lunch in the pub was delicious.

Have consolidated the boxes of Christmas decorations some more, but they are not yet in the loft. They have in fact only been moved from one bed to another.

Novel remains unwritten. 😂

Living room is done.

Study is not. I have moved out 18 carrier bags of books, and shoved all the old clothes that I will never might put on Vinted into DD's room. Now I am bored and on MN instead.

I've made progress too, only 3 more episodes to go (had to stop as the kids came back home)

Just a repaint 😀very similar colours as I don't have mental bandwidth to choose new schemes.

Have now taken shelves out of bookcase and removed all electronics, rug, lamp and chair. Nearly there.
