How to set a timer on iPad 6

I want to set a timer on my ds ipad but cat see how to do it. I’m happy with an hour a day max but want there to be a cut off on his iPad. Is there any way to do it?

If you mean like a timer that will countdown an hour and then make a noise, it’s in the clock app that comes pre installed on the iPad.

If you mean like a parental control screen time thing, it’s been a while since I’ve done it but using your own Apple account, you want to go to settings and then family sharing, you add the child’s Apple account to the family sharing and from there you can set his screen time and other parental controls.
