Alone after dark?

TBH I don't usually think twice about being out alone in the evening, but I don't know this part of London. I imagine it will be busy close to the Palace, but don't know about the rest of the route.

It's about a mile. There is a bus but I often find I'm more comfortable walking.

Wwyd?

After dark as in 5.30pm? Or 11pm?

Yes, it's walkable. It's 100% quicker and easier by bus as the W3 takes you straight there door to door from outside of Wood Green Station, but if you want to walk it's possibly about 20-30 mins.

I have and I would. Perfectly safe just stick to well lit paths and pavements.

Hmmm, if it was a busy route/dozens of people walking alongside me/not far from me, then yes, as it's only about 20 minutes. But if you are going to be alone, then I would get a bus or taxi. xx

Depending on where you are coming from you could get the overground from Finsbury Park to Alexandra palace station, which is more or less at the gates of the park.

I did it before xmas on own to go and see Scrooge. Then discovered easy bus on way back
i felt safe but legs wise and frizz hair avoidance take the bus

Edited

Agree the bus is much better.

Yep. It's main roads and 8pm isn't that late at all

No, but mainly because from what I can recall on the only time I ever did it, it's up a bloody steep hill!
