Lighthearted *
I just saw a title to a post about ID cards and I thought omg I haven’t seen anything on social media for a while about those yet only a few months ago you couldn’t read a sentence online without someone in arms about them , then come the flags and painting flags on roundabouts , people on social media uploading videos of streets of flags and then over Christmas and New Year I feel like all ive seen is people arguing over bins , the council and then the grit bins . Our local councils have been ripped apart online over taking away all the grit bins … I’m literally sick of seeing posts on fb about a wheely bin lol

So , I wonder what’s the next to be the focus of the publics attention 🤣🤣

It should be the shitshow of our infrastructure breaking down. Water network, power network, road network, railways, heath service - all are failing massively. It won't be Russian bombs that will kill us - It will be the absolute fucking incompetence of those who are supposed to support and deliver basic services.

We could actually take our pick couldn’t we . The whole country is going to pot.

It needs to be the crazy profits energy companies and supermarkets are making right now amongst others . It shouldn’t be allowed … the companies are getting rid of staff left right and centre and yet their profits are increasing hourly.

We all need proper contracts none of this 4 hours contracts lark and then existing on overtime which is what is happening when I’m on the job sites .

Energy prices is due in large part to wind turbines - we pay 12 -15,000 £ per turbine per annum as ground rent to the land owner- so multiply that by the thousands of turbines the gov are boasting about. And £KKkKs to The Crown to run off shore cables across beaches which are all crown estate. And £KKKs to compensate w f owners when the wind doesn’t blow. .
Appalling deals which means rich investment businesses and landowners and Chinese manufacturers first - and us paying for it all.

Maybe the fact that NHS is more expensive and less good than the health service in similar countries?

I wonder similarly about the latest diagnosis many people will claim, we've had "a bit OCD", then aspie/autistic, now it's ADHD or neuro-spicy. What's next?

Obviously these conditions have some aspects that are very common so once spread through memes lots of people feel they apply.

WATER.

Come the summer the next topic is going to be water supply. The UK is heading towards serious shortages as demand increases, supply becomes more erratic and aging infrastructure and ongoing mismanagement increase water loss in transit. Add in the projected water consumption for AI data centers and we have some great headlines coming.

Potholes seem to be making a comeback on Social Media.
