Friday evening. WFH so managed to get house relatively clean in my lunch hour / after work, dogs walked, showered and changed into comfies, DH gets in from work, get the log burner going, dogs on the sofa / in front of the fire, open a bottle of red, takeaway ordered and on the sofa chilling out by 7pm. No plans for the rest of the weekend😍

Yes, this is lovely - extra cozy if it’s lashing rain outside, and you don’t have to get up early the next morning.

Having a midday nap under a heated blanket and the cats curled up either side.

On your day off, making tea and toast and taking it back to a cozy bed.

Snuggled on my sofa, cats snoozing too, with a cup of tea + sweet treat and a good book with some music on in the background. +10 comfort points if it’s bad weather outside too!

Going out to a congenial pub to see a gang of good friends, in the sure knowledge that you will have an excellent time and laugh a lot.

Two moments, looking out the window sitting up in bed after dh goes to work and before I start the day, and in the sitting room with dh listening to my children laughing together over the washing up in the evening. It’s rare really as we are busy but magical when it happens.

For me it's my dog a cup of chocolatey coffee in the mug my best friend brought me blankets and candles im in recovery at the moment and doing plenty of it.

Curled up on the sofa, blanket, good book, coffee, scented candles and a cat or two.

Fire on, good tv show, piping hot cup of tea (or wine), and something yummy to eat that is simultaneously delicious, nutritious and within my calorie allowance (so no guilt)! Also this is after checking in with my kids that all is well. Even better if it’s stormy outside and my cats are curled up next to me.

We were only saying this week we miss our 2 climbing into our bed in the morning. They're too big now to want to get in and watch Bluey with us!!!

Coming in from a rainy, windy walk, putting my huge spotty blanket on and watching Miss Marple with a big bowl of homemade soup.

Going to bed and waking up in a clean quiet home, knowing im still single.

Reading in bed, with a hot drink.
