Help!! DS 18th over easter weekend, ideas gratefully received

My DS turns 18 on 6/4/26, I have no clue what to do as hekeeps changing his mind over what he wants to do!

Ive offered a party but he doesn't want family and friends together, I offered a party with his friends he doesn't want his family left out. Ive said about a gathering at the house with a few friends and close family he said no to that. Out for a meal with family then another night with friends it was a no again.

DS says he doesn't know what he wants to do?! Im getting quite frustrated as ypu can imagine 😅 I dont know what to do forthe best. DH and I have both booked the weekend off work for this!!

I will feel terrible if his birthday comes round and he says what are we doing and i haven'torganised?!! This has happened before 🤦‍♀️😅

Heeellllp! What do I do? Anyone got any ideas? He is an only child so no siblings to celebrate with and his cousins are all 5+ years younger than him.

Theme park with his mates? I should think they’d still enjoy it wouldn’t they? With the great joy that you don’t have to go! Then pub lunch with the family?

Ds had a few friends round for beers, pizza, Fortnite and a film. I skedaddled. In the morning the kitchen was cleaner than it was before the party ❤️

Basically it doesn’t have to be a huge deal (though tbf I always did him a serious cake until he was 21). Just set something up that you think will be fun. He can always change his mind.
