One packet on mince and two of chicken breasts. Overlooked a shopping bag when putting stuff in the fridge. We got home around 210pm and noticed just before 4.
Put them straight in the fridge. They're still safe to use aren't they? Planned on making a bolognaise tomorrow and fajitas on Friday.

So it was out of the fridge 2 hours?
Of course, it'll be fine unless it was resting on a radiator.

Goldpanther · 14/01/2026 16:17

Yes, I'd still use them.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 14/01/2026 16:17

Totally I would use them.

Yes. Definitely. Is your kitchen tropical?

Yes

Favouritefruits · 14/01/2026 16:48

Definitely, I wouldn’t throw that out at all.

ParmaVioletTea · 14/01/2026 16:49

Of course they are. How do you think people managed before refrigerators?

flatterlylatterly · 14/01/2026 19:28

Yes fine

Whataninterestinglookingpotato · 14/01/2026 20:27

Unless they were literally touching the radiator then I’d 100% still use them.

ThatWasMyLastFatFreeFrush · 14/01/2026 20:28

Absolutely.
