Sore breast area- leave or gp?

Sore area on breast, just above nipple. Almost feels like a bruise. I think its a cyst but do I wait to see if it goes or get it checked out? I've googled but mixed opinions!

why wouldn't you get that checked out?!

I currently have this exactly and am waiting for my referral to the breast clinic mostly for piece of mind as they think it’s probably a cyst. If it helps, before the referral the Gp asked; is it cyclical (linked to your period), could I have pulled a muscle, is my bra well fitting, what personal and family history is with breast cancer. Very easy appointment so worth doing, book it today.

If it's sore and red- a and e. Mine was cellulitis, could have been serious if left!

Get it checked out.
