We have a Bristan Bliss digital electric shower which is the only one I have ever had with good pressure that is easy to control and maintain the temp. Had it for 10 years but it has stopped heating up. I'm guessing at that age there is little point in trying to repair so I need a new one. It's been discontinued. I have another bathroom with an utterly shit one in and all other electric ones I've had or used have been crap. I remember from getting this one it can only be 8.5w without me having major work done which I can't afford right now so needs to be a simple replacement. Is there any other 8.5w shower that won't make my mornings utterly shit for the next 5 years??

Do you definitely want to have an electric shower? We got rid of ours when we re did the bathroom

Try a local plumbers yard where they have a showroom - the one near us has loads of brochures and the woman in it knows all the ranges etc

Id go with Mira, although mine is 15 years old and 10.8kw so can't recommend a current model.

In my previous homes I always had electric showers. In my current home both the showers work off the boiler and I find them realy good and much more economical than electric ones.
