Oh this happened to me! I got this one 100% because it’s dishwasher safe. I’ve only had it about a month but love the larger capacity

My kid uses Salter. Has been used for last one year continuously. Does the job and olny 35 quid.

We have the older version of this Dualit one. Apparently they used to make the old velvetiser. It has the magnetic spinning frother thingy, rather than the clip on one that some of the cheaper brands use (we had one from Aldi that was rubbish).

Dualit here although I only really use it for hot milk for coffee with the occasional hot chocolate. As pp said, I think it was the same as the velvetiser in a different skin.

Thanks all! DH has managed to get it going again (apparently he pressed it down onto the base more firmly) but at least Ive got some alternatives if it packs up for good 😁
