Nefopan - anybody take this?

I’ve just been prescribed it for bad back pain. Has anybody taken it? Did it work well and did you suffer any side effects?

I couldn’t take it, it made me feel sick and dizzy.

Oh no, that’s what I’m worried about.

Yes, Ive been taking it for about 18 months. I have severe spinal stenosis. It hasn't erased the pain by any means but I suffer more if I don't take it. I hope that makes sense. I didn't suffer any side effects.

I had it after my total hip replacement. Was a godsend, I didn’t feel sick at all, whereas on morphine I was extremely sick and wobbly.

Didn’t make me feel sick or dizzy but did give me funny rushes up and down my body, like I was coming up on something !

That’s exactly what I’ve been prescribed it for. I hope it can at least make things easier.

I can’t take morphine either it makes me so dizzy and sickly, just feel out of it.

Hopefully that was a good side effect 🤣
