Shared calendar recommendations

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get more organised, and strong arm DH into sharing some of the load

Dos anyone have a recommendation for a shared calendar or app that we can use please?

I want us to both be able to access one calendar where we can both enter over time, appointment, school stuff etc so it doesn’t all just live in my head.

thanks!

DH and I are both on iphones, so we use shared calendars in icloud on the mac calendar app. It syncs across our phones and laptops. Very simple to set up...

You can do the same in Google calendar if you're on androids.

Whatever you do, I think it needs to be with the calendar app you/ your DH
already use. Becuase if you have to go into another app to check you i.e. he never will

We just use a Google calendar, one for me, one for him and one for the kids but it's all synced.

We use Google calendar too. Some things are flagged as family and visible to all but you can also flag as personal and only show on your calendar. Works brilliantly with the DC

We just have one hung on the wall in the kitchen on which everything gets written for all to see every day.

We use the free version of FamilyWall.

What type of phone are you using? (iPhone or Android etc)

We use TimeTree shared. We’ve found it works really well. Everyone has a colour (even the dog and car!).

Started with the free version which worked great but I wanted to be able to save files etc. eg if I have a medical appointment I can take a photo of the letter and attach it, you can then access it at anytime.

You can also add notes, repeated events etc to the appointment. So I have a recurring weekly meal planner that we can all access.
