Did anyone end up being a stay at home mum after their 3rd?

Did anyone end up being a stay at home Mum after having their third child? With all of them being young still? I currently work part-time and I will try and go back to work after I’ve had my third, but I just feel anxious and nervous because you know what it’s like when they all get ill you have to have time off work. I know some people Who have worked and then had their 3rd and became a stay at home mum because their kids just kept getting poorly as there’s more chance of having to phone in at work and they said it started to become a problem at work…. I will have 3 under 8 years.

Yes, although I had bigger gaps between the older 2 and the youngest, Work just felt like it would be too much. Money was tight for a while but I'm really glad I did it. Had about 3 years out of work in the end

I did, until my youngest child was 7. It was the right decision for our family.

I went part time after my 3rd until they were 9 ..,then full time again

I did. I had 3 under 3 so gave up when I had my youngest. I went back to work when she started at the school nursery age 4, first part time and now she's in primary school, full time.

It was the best thing for us as a family though at that point in time.

I did - I had a third when we realised we could make it work for a few years. I went back when he started school.
