DS is going on his first ski trip with school. I want to get him something some healthy/energyfull snacks to put in his bag. But obviously there’s the no nuts rule. Any good alternative suggestions?

We do oat bars, biscuit bars, dried fruit, cracker packs. Not too much however, I account for one a person per day. I throw in some crisps for the evening.

Individual packed brioche/ croissants. Cereal bars, dried fruit, protein balls.

My thoughts would naturally turn to protein balls/bars but they are full of nuts no?

What would you usually send him off with on school trips etc?

I do home made flapjacks with plenty of seeds and fruit.

I sent ds on his with some cereal bars, Pringles, dried mango (his request!) and biscuits. Just ask him what he wants, I asked ds and this is what he came up with.
they got fed 3 times a day and they had an opportunity every day to go into the town for waffles/ice creams and go to the supermarket so he had money for that too.

My teens (big lads) weren’t into snacking but a mini mars (or snickers but nuts an issue I imagine) or chocolate goes down well at a coffee stop. They did have big breakfasts, sandwiches and dinners though.
