Spin bike for home

Hello

We've recently sold one of our cars as we just don't need to be a two car family and it didn't make financial sense. However, the month after doing so my gym changed the time of the spin class I've been doing for the last 6 months and now I can't get there due to DH having the car for work at that time 🙃

I'm interested in recommendations of at home spin bikes under 400 pounds. Used is okay too. Bonus if I can digitally alter resistance as I have RA in my hands which can make the knobs tricky. I use the peloton app already for Yoga so will probably stick with that for classes.

Please don't suggest a peloton though I really can't afford it.

Thanks

DH recently bought a kaiser cycle from eBay for £200, all 4 of us use it so well worth it.

Thanks! Do you know which one he got? That's a great price for a Keiser.

Keiser M3i is what I have and I love it! The resistance is a lever

You can get amazing bargains of fitness equipment on eBay and Facebook marketplace, sometimes you have to be patient for the right thing to come along.

We have a precor rally spinner it’s very good and you can find them second hand- they use at my fitness club

I’ve had this one for about 6 years, about 3 of which it’s had hard use, and it’s still going strong with no maintenance beyond oil on the belt about once a year. I find it comfortable and easy to adjust (I also have a padded seat and a mat for it). When it finally dies I’ll probably buy the same model again:

I had a JTX Cycle 6 which was great. Sold it on second hand for £150 I think. Fab bike, very good quality and smooth. (Only sold it as I finally relented and invested in a Peloton bike, which I absolutely love.)

Without a peloton bike you won’t get the most of the app. For £400ish or a little more you should be able to pick up a second hand peloton. We love ours and find the quality great (much better than some of the other cheaper spin bikes I’ve tried)

Thanks everyone for the recs, lots to look up here.

As I said I'm not buying a peloton, used is fine but I'm not in the UK and there's an under supply of them, they regularly go for around 900 eur on my local marketplace/gumtree. Crazy.

I appreciate I made that unclear by stating budget in pounds, I'm in Donegal, Ireland. Can pop over the border to get a delivery/marketplace find but even in NI there's few secondhand pelotons about!
