Photo editing software or app (free)

I am looking for recommendations for free photo editing software or apps please.

Our wedding photographer went bust not long after and all we got were the untouched photos and while I can re-size these fine, I am wondering if there is some free software or an App where I could play around with the lighting.

i always use Canva but i pay monthly as it unlocks extra features

Gimp, for proper editing, it has similar features to Photoshop but can be hard to master if you're not familiar with photo editing. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials you can learn from.

I'm an amateur portrait photographer, i use Lightroom mobile. You can get a free trial i think. Snapseed is also pretty good for quick edits and easy to use.
