6 year old waking with toothache

I think it’s toothache; she points to her cheek where her upper back teeth are. I had a look with my phone torch and I can see her back molars coming in, but the pain is 1 side. I’ll phone the dentist tomorrow and see if I can get her seen asap, but just wondering if anyone else has had this? She’s woken a few nights in a row now, so I’m worried the tooth isn’t coming through ‘normally’ if it is that as I wouldn’t expect it to go on this long.

thanks

You’re doing the right thing with planning together her seen by the Dentist ASAP.

In the meantime offer comforts: Calpol, Neurofen, cold compress, soft diet, gentle teeth brushing.

Cant offer advice re: if the tooth is coming in “normally” but a dentist would.
