Vinted sellers please help

I have bought something off of vinted and now I'm nervous about the seller having my address due to not very nice messages they have sent. I won't get into that part as it's not important. If you have sold anything recently and have sent it by royal mail, using a QR code and having the post office print it, do you have the buyers address anywhere? Either on vinted, through your email or can somehow access it through the QR code? Thankyou for reading, I'm sure I'm over reacting but it would lift a weight off my shoulders if I knew they didn't know my address. I have already blocked them.

I don’t think the seller gets your address - just a QR code and the buyer’s name - that’s what I have when I sold something today on vinted (but EVRI not Royal Mail).
good luck - can you report the messages to vinted ?

If you have blocked them do you still want the item or are you going to cancel the sale?

The sale was completed before I blocked them.

Thank you, I was tempted to report them but honestly I have a lot going on and I don't need added worry, especially as I didn't know if they had my address or not. I screenshot the messages then deleted the chat so it was all gone from me having to look at it. I just had the last worry of them knowing my address. They didn't threaten me or anything. I just don't want any unpleasant letters or parcels.

Also they have a lot of good reviews so I guess they are fine unless you complain?

Royal Mail receipts usually include the post code the parcel is going to.

Worth reporting to Vinted if there’s an issue.

Ah okay, does it include the house number?

Why are they sending you horrible messages? You need to leave them a negative feedback and see if you can report them to vinted...Sending through QR code I'm sure they won't know you're address....but they would be very petty if they try to pursue you via your address...relax I'm sure it's over, try not to get paranoid over it.

I’ve recently sent an item by Royal Mail using the QR code at my post office. They scan the code, took the parcel and put the label on it so I didn’t see where it was going.
There have been a lot of Royal Mail lockers pop up in my area (a bit like InPost) where you print the label and stick it on before depositing the parcel in the locker. I don’t know if those labels show the address.

Unless the item is something you desperately need or want, I’d cancel the order purely for the fact the seller is being an arse and sending not very nice messages.

Edit- I’ve just read that the sale has already completed. Definitely report to Vinted though, you shouldn’t have to put up with nasty messages.

If they printed the label at home and then took it to the post office, they will have your address. Report them, shocking behaviour.

The item arrived broken into more than 10 pieces. I reported the item as broken but I made the mistake of telling them I would try to glue it back together (which I'm almost 100% sure I can't). They got upset that I'm getting the item for "free" as I got a refund. I think I will just throw it in the bin now and not even try to fix it.

For RM you only get a QR code, so they won't have your address. The exception is if it's a pro seller, we get sent the buyer details by email so we can create and invoice if we choose to.
For info, and not to excuse the sellers behaviour, while you have been refunded they won't have been. So they have lost the item and the money, within no requirement on you to return it to them.

I get that, but I thought they would be sad it was broken, I was trying to make them feel better about it. They didn't protect it at all when they packaged it so it is really no surprise it shattered.
