Feeling low for non reason / hormones?

I really suffer with my hormones and PMT but increasingly I feel like I'm feeling that way at other times of the month. I'm menstruating and still feel as low as I did beforehand whereas I'd usually feel better as soon as I'm past the PMT.

I'm home alone with my young DC. I took them out earlier for a physical activity, library and to a cafe for brunch with grandparents but since lunchtime we've just been at home. We've played a bit but currently we're just watching tv. I don't feel in the mood to do anything else. I feel overstimulated and just want to zone out. My DC is lovely and happily watching a film but I feel bad for feeling this way and frustrated that it feels like it's happening more and more.

Anyone relate?

I don't drink much but thinking of having a cider to perk me up!

No but I took out DC on my own earlier and DH has since gone out to see a friend and will be gone until late.

Not really. I actually prefer him to not be here at this point. He's very difficult.
