I got refered 4 months ago for thickening in the upper left breast and they scanned it and said benign nodularity left breast upper outer quadrant and told me it’s normal, well last week I fount a lump that same area but before it was just thickening I went my doctors and she said she could feel a small firm lump and refered me urgently I’m so scared, I’m 33 she said it was firm but not tethered, anyone else got any positive stories I just can’t calm down :(

Best to get it checked.
Hospital are really quick to check breast lumps.
It may be a benign cyst but if it's not, the sooner you have treatment the better.
It will naturally worry you but please be proactive and get it seen asap.

You’ve done the right thing getting checked out again.
I had similar a couple of weeks ago. Had a new pain in my right breast and could feel a weird lump. My GP said that they don’t mess around with referrals to breast clinic, because it’s better to refer everyone and a high-percentage turn out to be nothing sinister than not make the referrals.
Mine turned out to be an inflamed milk duct (even though I’ve been finished breastfeeding for 3 years!).
