That looks like a normal mole to me, and your GP has also confirmed they are not concerned?

Looks like a normal mole to me - I have loads. Good that you got it checked by GP if it recently changed though - worth doing.

You have posted multiple times with worries about moles. It sounds as if you have major health anxiety. Maybe your gp could help with that?

If you are not happy with your doctors opinion I can see a couple of options either book a private appt with a dermatologist or the cheaper starting point would be to go to a mole scanning service , Boots do one , it’s a very quick turnaround and if there is something wrong you can then go back to the GP .Your mole does look ok to me as I was told it was non symmetry and ragged edges that were warning signs .

Honestly I have so many moles of different types and I wouldn’t even count that as being different shades compared to some of mine, which are also normal moles btw (and same for my DH thinking about it). I think if you look up cancerous moles you will see they are nothing like this.

I’ve seen a specialist before after being referred by GP and they were quite dismissive (rude actually!) telling me my skin type means I could expect existing moles to get larger and to also notice new moles as I age too - ha thanks doc! Not saying I wouldn’t go back if I had a concern, but the mole you have shown wouldn’t have me running to the doctor put it that way. It sounds like a GP has already told you not to worry, so it sounds more like health anxiety?
