Tell me about your cold weather today

It's 45 degrees Celsius where I live today, can you help me cool down mentally by telling me about your winter weather...please! ❄🔥

It’s been fucking freezing and pelting with rain all day. I walked the dog this evening around 9 and she didn’t even want to be out in it (albeit she is a fucking wimp!), it honestly felt like my face was being hit by a thousand, freezing cold little knives when I was walking into the wind. The mud is back with a gelatinous vengeance, so the gateways are poached messes yet again and the wind blew my son’s ride on tractor across the garden and into the hedge. Should’ve moved it sooner really. Quite frankly, it’s shit 😂

I live in Canada. It warmed up to a balmy -15 today!

A lot of people have got it much worse than here; it's been cold and raining but not severely.

My friend has it bad and loathes the snow/freezing cold so I do feel sorry for him.

But he does have a log fire! 🔥

It's windy and snowing where I am. 0°C feels like -6°C. I'd take that over 45°C🥵

We are currently in Finland on holiday and it was -37 yesterday 🥶❄️ even the locals are saying it's very cold

I'm further south in Finland and its -23, about -26 with wind chill. Was not fun going out of my house to go to work, had to turn the car on 5 minutes before leaving so I wouldn't freeze in it.

I'm fed up with winter. It's just dark, murky and cold. No snow just icy cold rain and frozen roads for the school run. It's really dragged on this year and I'm counting down to decent weather again.

I don't think my brain can even imagine -37, I've been in -6 once when skiing and I thought that was awful!

I work outdoors all day. Yesterday started ok ish but by 2pm we were working in a cloud of freezing fog , visibility about 5 feet. Not ideal when the severely autistic man I was working with did a runner and I had to chase around a 4 acre field looking for him!

I hate the cold in the UK, but this cold is different, a lot drier and actually fine if you layer up- 3 layers of clothes, feet warmers and 2 pairs of socks. We have managed probably hour and half outside then come in and warm up each time.

Pyhä is lovely, been there a few times as it's not far from where my mum grew up, which was where we spent most of my childhood holidays.
