Apart from mega main roads by us, nothing is gritted. Unlikely to be able to get the DC to school in the morning for the sake of 5cm-ish of snow that will likely be ice by 8am 😕 It's a 4-ish mile drive up and then back down a significant hill. Not sure we'd even get out of our road tbh. Normal family car. Why are the roads not gritted???

The snow is likely too heavy for grit to have an impact.
But our small town and surrounding areas is gridlocked with abandoned cars and lorries stuck as the roads were thick with snow quickly.
No gritters have been seen anywhere.
Midlands.

We're midlands too. Snow doesn't seem that think yet but perhaps I'll be surprised when I wake up.
