Would a barber shop do a wash and blow dry?

I’m aware I can just go in and ask, but sitting having a coffee and got an hour to kill before an appointment and nowhere else to go. There is a fancy looking barber shop near and just wondering aloud if this would be a silly ask. They look quite quiet.

Anyone know?

You will only find out by asking.

Ask, what have you got to lose.

They don’t usually have sinks for washing hair so that’s the first obstacle. My daughter with long poker straight hair has had a trim given using clippers at a barbers, her brother was having his hair cut and I said it is a shame she can’t get a haircut here too as she was in dire need of it ; they said as long as it’s the same amount off all the way round they would do it. I paid the same. But I think it’s unlikely they’d do anything more substantial.

Asked and they said no. Not got the equipment. Oh well. Back to wandering about in the cold or Tesco express
