Anyone bought a Suri toothbrush? Are they worth the money?

My trusty old Oral B toothbrush is no longer holding its charge. Looking to replace it and have been looking at the Suri toothbrush, tempted by the claims of holding charge for a month plus, also the sustainability aspect appeals. Before I invest, has anyone got one? Do they live up to the hype? Or would I be better just upgrading what I already have.
Thanks!

I bought a Suri toothbrush with a Black Friday deal, think I got about 20% off. I really like it! I had been using the more expensive Philips Sonicare brushes for a few years before that, and was fed up with the crap batteries and short lifespans for the £££.

I will say the Suri doesn't feel quite as powerful, but my teeth certainly feel lovely and clean. I like that it comes with a magnet function so it hangs up on my bathroom mirror looking very sleek! And I have only charged it once since November (and that was because I was taking it on holiday, not because it asked me to - I'm yet to see a low battery warning!). 😎

I'd say go for it!

I bought one for me and also DS and DH so was well and truly “influenced”. They worked great initially and I felt got the teeth nice and clean and did hold charge for a good while (months!) initially but they became difficult to charge after that, didn’t seem to get a connection to charger despite me cleaning all the connections and eventually stopped charging completely. I contacted Suri about all 3 individually and never got a response. I replaced with Philips sonicare and they’ve been great. Expensive mistake.

We have them. If I'm honest, I don't think they clean quite as well as the round oscillating brush type, but I'll trade that for the six week charging.

Did have an issue with both the first ones we had where they suddenly turned themselves on and couldn't be turned off, rendering them useless, but unlike the poster above I found the Suri customer service fabulous - they sent new ones straight out, and touch wood no issues with new ones.

I find it easier to charge it in the travel case, as like another poster I find it a bit tricky to get connection on the charging stand.

Sounds like there are a load of caveats there, but overall I'm a fan.

Is go for a Sonicare. Battery lasts for weeks (way longer than Oral B) and cleans really well.

I've got one and love it, the recycled aspect is very appealing

I've got one, like it a lot. They replaced it free after 6 months when the charging contacts got eroded. Second one seems fine.

Wow I didn’t see the deleted message but I would love to know how a thread about a toothbrush could elicit an unacceptable response 😂

Interesting to see the responses here. Both DH and I have had Suris in the past. Love the product - they look great and the charge is fantastic in comparison to other toothbrushes. But we eventually had constant issues with both our toothbrushes - not turning off, turning themselves on randomly in the middle of the night, not holding charge... The company were great and happily sent out new toothbrushes each time we complained but it got tiresome by the time I was on my third toothbrush in less than a year (and second for DH). It’s a shame because we really like the brand apart from the obvious! Hopefully they are able to improve the product.

I've had mine since the summer and no problems, I prefer it to my older sonicare. It cleans well, never seems to need charging, and I like the wall magnet thing. Recommend from me!

We've got them for the whole family and they're all brilliant, none have had any issues. I love the timer every 30 seconds so the kids know they need to move quadrants and keep brushing for two full minutes until it turns off!!!

(At first I didn't realise what the toothbrush was doing with the timer randomly turning off but then I figured it out.)

Notdanishsusan · 09/01/2026 17:04

People on Insta seem to love them, but I saw a comment from a dentist saying that the rotating head on traditional ones are better.

It was some sort of advert written in telltale AI language 😅

Ah OK, nothing too offensive then 😂

I've had one for about 15 months now. The charge lasts for about 6 weeks and my dentist is pleased with my teeth so I'm satisfied overall!
