Have just been reading the thread about things that sound nice but aren’t. As it is dreary January, I thought we should have a counter thread about things that are nice/exceed expectations. I’ll start.

Burger King - I’ve had it twice in the past year and expected it to be ok. Far nicer than I imagined.

Bath salts- haven’t dared use them since my teens cause I was always prone to thrush. Used them the other day (now post menopause age) and they felt really indulgent

Nescafe cappuccino sachets. Nothing on a proper cappuccino obviously but a very convenient drink. (The Kenco ones aren't bad either, but not quite as pleasant)

Posh liquid hand soap. You think it's a ridiculous price and then you use it and it's all fragrance and soft bubbles like a 30 second spa break.

Homemade porridge. I have it throughout winter with berries, granola & mixed dried fruit
