Can anyone recommend these cars?

Looking at buying a different car and can’t decide on one. I currently have a jaguar xf but it’s rear wheel drive and a pain to drive in winter so been looking at getting an suv that is four wheel drive. The two cars I’ve narrowed it down to are a-

Jaguar F-pace or a Audi SQ5

Has anyone got either of these cars and recommend them?
It wouldn’t be brand new I’m thinking a 16/17 plate
Thanks

Absolutely neither. Jaguars just suck petrol, are heavy and handling is crap. Audis if you look at them the debt. If you are in this market I would think BMW or Volvo.

Forgot to add that I would be getting diesel and I love the handling of my jag (when it’s not wet or icy) best car I’ve ever driven. Dh has a bmw x5 and it’s been nothing but problems 🤦🏻‍♀️ infact it’s in the garage this Friday getting the dpf sorted. I looked at Volvos but I think they are kind of ugly. Maybe I should test drive one before making a decision

Each to their own and there is a car for everyone. Diesel isn’t really the way to go so not sure why you are going that way? One car doesnt taint all of them so it may unfortunately just be your husband car. I don’t think Volvos are icky but again thats a choice. They are lovely to drive. Good luck.

We just prefer diesel cars it’s personal preference. And I know you can’t taint one car but my best friend also has an x5 and hers has been the same. Plus I don’t see the point in having two of the same car. Thank you

Neither.

I’d also look at the Porsche Cayenne in that line up, the diesel is the same as the Q7 Audi, the macan is the same as the Q5, for what they cost extra to buy they more than make up for in interior styling, driver enjoyment and overall ownership costs they are one of the most reliable brands in that area as well. I may have had a few and live them.

I think people just assume they are out of budget but I’d 100% go from jag to Porsche. Maybe look at the Merc 4x4s as well if you like well built cars

You may hate the Volvo btw!

Merc, Volvo or Lexus.
