How long are rental evictions taking these days?

From when court papers are filed and a defence is made with an accelerated possession…can anyone shed any light on when an eviction could potentially happen assuming there are no problems? Hearing would be in a North Yorkshire magistrates court. I’m hearing it can take 6 months?

We filed a section 8 end of Oct and have court date for possession 22nd Jan.
Section 8 because tenant not paid rent for 6 months. I too feared it would be up to 6 months for court date but not as bad as I thought. If they don’t leave before 22nd Jan I expect it could be another 6-8 weeks for the bailiffs.

Mine was 3 months at the start of the year. It went to a court with shorter waiting lists in Leeds I think, & I’m Shropshire.
Section 21 was October 2024.
First court hearing Jan 2025 then second April 2025 with eviction then May 2025.

My son was due to be moving into a rental property
on the day that he was due to move into the previous tenants did not leave
the landlord went to court and got a date for eviction- bailiffs arrived. Tenants had an extension for two weeks
when the two weeks were up they had a further extension which is indefinite- there is currently no date for them to leave
my son is waiting for his deposit to be returned
