Best spa recommendations Manchester/Liverpool

Please throw your best spa recommendations to us. It’s our first 2 night break without our children in years!

We would like breakfast and treatment included as a minimum and ideally a huge big comfy bed! We don’t mind travelling a couple of hours but the closer the better to Cheshire/liverpool. Flexible budget.

We used to be seasoned spa goers but lived down south pre children so not familiar with the best places around here!

Woodland Spa at Burnley is fabulous, ive not stayed at the hotel but a friend has and loved it. Bertrams restaurant is really good too.

Would Carden Park be too far east?

I’ve been to carden park. Would recommend. About 40 mins from Chester.

The Woodland Spa is lovely, close to Manchester too.

Have a look at Thornton Hall on the Wirral. I’m not a spa regular but the spa there compares very favourably with others I’ve been too.
