Help me declutter! Photos

I've boxes and boxes of photos. A flamingo, a tree, a place somewhere. Every now and again, people (family/friends). Is there any point keeping them? Weed out the places, keep those with people? How do you do it?

I would keep only ones with good memories attached to them. And where you have 8 that are more or less the same, just keep 1.
