Snowboarding holiday for beginner (16 yr old DS) and other nice snowy activities for me and DH

As per the title, any suggestions for a holiday where 16 yr old DS can learn to snowboard, and me and DH can go and do some nice snowy activities that don’t involve plunging down a mountainside?! Hoping to go at Easter if there will still be snow somewhere! Complete newbie to all of this, happy to consider all suggestions! Thank you

I think if you are going at Easter you'll need to look at places like Norway but I'm no expert. We are going for the first time in half term and our resort has other activities, dog sledding, swimming pool, snow rafting and sledging
