Lapland in November…

DH and I are considering taking our 3 children to Lapland for 2 nights at the end of November.
I've started looking but could really do with some advice from anyone who has been recently to help me narrow my search down 🙂

Where would you recommend? Will 2 nights be long enough?

Thank you!

Think it will depend a lot on flight times and what you want to do. It's not long enough to travel between towns really.

Are you wanting snow op? We went for Christmas and it was quite warm, bear in mind most snow doesn’t arrive until mid December depending on where you want to go!

I would have liked snow! I wrongly just assumed there’d be lots all of the time 😂 I obviously need to do more research!

Oh definitely go later then! January is good for snow.

Yes definitely go later, and further north for more snow

We went to Levi for Feb half term. It was amazing, but we weren't bothered about finding Santa. Some skiing, sledges, reindeer and husky ride. Would go again in a flash!

Go as far North as you can in November or you may not have snow. We went to Ruka in the later half of December. It was the most amazing holiday.

We went with Santas Lapland early December, cost a fortune by well worth it! Everything is included, worth looking then up online!

Just got back from February half term in Levi. It was amazing! Total bucket list holiday. There is a very useful Facebook group called ‘Lapland Tips for Levi’, I’d have a good look in there before booking. General advice would be NOT to go in November if you want snow.

There's a fantastic Facebook group called Lapland on a Budget. I've mined all the info shared to plan my own trip. Really recommend.
