Anyone use mouth tape at night?

If so can you recommend one?

I'm thinking of giving it a try as I wake in the night and my tongue feels like carpet, it's so dry!
I also want to start teeth whitening but not sure it'll be ideal to have the gum shields and open dry mouth.

Never heard of mouth tape. Does it tape your whole mouth closed?
Wouldn't that be a choking risk if you were unexpectedly sick in your sleep?

I guess, potentially. I'm almost 50 and don't think I've ever suddenly vomited in my sleep though.

There are different versions of tape. Some tape fully, others a strip

Yes, I use ones like a cross. They don’t close your whole mouth and I really like them.

Yes I’ve been using wild stripes which I buy from boots. For some reason they put them in the plasters section with the plasters of the same brand.

I sleep much better waking up less, and haven’t had any problems breathing, if anything I think it makes my nose clearer overnight. I’ve only taken them off in my sleep twice. Have been using nightly for at least 6 months.

They are £5.99 for 20. I might try a cheaper brand from Amazon at some point.

Micropore tape. It's skin friendly and not overly sticky. Just do a diagonal strip so you feel freer and not too claustrophobic.

My bf uses mouth tape to stop himself snoring when we sleep together. I am incredibly grateful that he does!
He uses the oval-ish shaped ones made of fabric plaster material. They come from amazon, no particular seller.
