Tesco home delivery items unavailable

Boring but I’ve got nobody else to share my irritation with.
Delivery due later tonight (so I could be smug face meal plan prepared for the first time ever). Back to work tomorrow so this was supposed to help me be organised etc. 14 items unavailable and there are no suitable substitutions available apparently. Items include chicken, salmon, bananas, toilet roll, hummus, grapes, garlic bread and sweet potatoes. Luckily the chocolate eclairs, tinned tuna and sugar are still available so that’s ok. 😭

That's an unusual amount of unavailable items, I wonder if your store has had a power cut or something to put the fridges out.

That’s a lot of unavailable items. I wonder is it a case of the shop being super busy due to most people back to normality tomorrow and a big rush on fresh food today and you just got really unlucky. Myself and DH did a big shop this morning with all the food for the week and also for lunches and at 11am this morning the supermarket was really busy.

Gosh that’s a lot. I have 2 Tesco deliveries a week and usually have between 0 and 2 substitutions or unavailables.
I generally like the substitutions from Tesco as they mainly sub with more costly versions of the own brands that I buy.

Who knows! And to top it all off they are going to be late as well 😆
