I am a mother of three children and a poor woman. I do not have any skills, and I cannot go outside to do a job because my children are small. I want to do some kind of online work to fulfill their basic needs. Please give me some advice on what I should do.

Look up the 'work from home hub', set your job search on indeed to 'remote', ask on local facebook employment groups

Can you say more about your circumstances? Do you have a partner? What income do you have?

How old are your children? Many people work outside the home with small children. It is possible

Hello everyone,
I am a mother of three young children. I am struggling financially and cannot go out to work because my children are still very small.
I do not have any formal skills or work experience, but I am willing to learn and work hard. I am looking for advice on any genuine online work or ways to earn from home to help cover our basic needs.
If anyone has experience or suggestions, I would be very grateful.
Thank you for reading.

From what I gather genuine work from home opportunities are not common for people without skills or experience

Have you had jobs before?

You say your children are small but many people work when their children are babies

IamSmarticus · 04/01/2026 10:31

Do you have a husband/partner or are you a single parent? What will you do with the children whilst you work? You can't look after 3 kids and work at the same time, or are you looking for work that can be done whilst they are in bed?

ToKittyornottoKitty · 04/01/2026 10:34

Can’t you look into the childcare available and get a job outside of the home?

parkezvous · 04/01/2026 10:37

Why can’t you work?

Carringtoncorby · 04/01/2026 10:39

Do you have GCSEs?

LIZS · 04/01/2026 11:16

You need to consider childcare. No paid job can be done efficiently while looking after small children. How old are they, would you get funding towards childcare?
