According to B&Q: 1) *You should always phone the store* to check they are open before setting off as the hours on their website for that branch may not be accurate. 2) Even if you do this, *you might still turn up to find them closed *as B&Q reserve the right to close if there are not enough customers in store. This is in addition to: 1) Having no staff to get heavy items off high shelves 2) Having to scan your own large, heavy items at the checkouts whilst 2 or 3 members of staff stand gossiping in front of a "Charity" Noticeboard. 3) Being asked at the till and at the exit to donate to their chosen charity - virtue signalling and tax write off reasons, presumably!
