Something nice about your day

Id say since 2024 ive been quite depressed. Its happened before im 27 diagnosed with aspergers at 14 so it can be common for me to have episodes where I slip into it

.im trying my best to be upbeat and positive as I know how to self help a bit now

Something that helps me Is acknowledging little happy things in my day rather than searching for huge highs all the time

Today, my 4year old gets into our bed for cuddles at 6.30am , our 2 year old is already in. He turns to his little sister says "i love you do you want to be best friends" and she says yes. Something little but started my day off wonderful when im reminded about how lucky I am

What are some nice little things about your day?

My husband has bought me up a coffee in bed.

What a lovely idea for a thread and your children sound adorable. I am sat in my kitchen with a coffee and a candle. The sound of the dishwasher feels soothing. My boys are asleep and I am looking forward to a duvet day with them today.

All our visitors have left. The house is clean and tidy. The tree is in the loft. Thank God.

The central heating has come on this morning…. And by the feel of the house it’s come on for a bit in the night ….. awaiting new boiler. Current one works about 20% of the time 🤷‍♂️

What you've described isn't little, it's really lovely; I'd remember a moment like that forever.

My little moment right now is happiness at finishing a long letter to my penfriend which I think she'll enjoy.

Darling children 🥰

Mine is my children too. My 10mo daughter actually slept last night (well, I was up three times but that’s a VAST improvement!!) and has woken up a smiley, chatty angel and my 4yo DS was absolutely over the moon to see it had snowed overnight and has already been out throwing snowballs at the kitchen windows and doing his fabulous booming laugh every time it makes me ‘jump’ 😂

I’m ahead of you in timezones.

DH said “let’s go for a picnic” so we did.

We were overlooking the Swan River with the sea breeze, boats, birds. All very nice.
