Family time ideas for kids 9-11

When they were younger we did all kinds of things but feel like now they are older they have outgrown quite a bit, we still have film nights and do baking but looking for ideas on things to do, they play out a lot so it's not so much an every day thing, but I feel a bit lost for ideas when we are altogether.
I don't mind if ideas are free or have to pay for.
One boy and one girl, so also don't mind ideas for one on one time with either too :)

They are probably old enough to play more adult board games/parlour games e.g. scrabble/charades/chess without having to 'go easy' on them. DS1 (nearly 10) regularly beats me at chess.

If you have netflix we've just discovered they have some games available to take turns on.

Gardening?

geocaching
orienteering
climbing wall
jigsaws
card games
board games
bike rides
swimming
cooking / food prep
sports games - lower league football / rugby can be reasonably priced and easy to get tickets for, or something a bit different such as basketball or ice hockey can be fun. Local cricket clubs are usually free to watch in the summer - take a picnic and grab a pint from the bar!

If your son is less into traditional board games you could try the more funny games/party games like ‘What do you Meme’, ‘Cards against humanity (family edition)’, ‘Exploding Kittens’ etc
