Mug printing - how easy ?

I am thinking of buying a mug press ( cricut or Loklik ) Does anyone do this and can help me out ?

How hard is it? What software would I need to print ? Could I just find out the dimensions of the mug / a template and the insert my images on it and print it on to sublimation paper ?

In terms of a printer , I know I can’t use my usual one so I was looking at the Epsom ET - 1810. It comes with ink , is that sublimation ink and could I just set it up and go or is it more complicated ? I have read if you use it with sublimation ink it’s more straightforward than if you had used normal ink and were converting ?

Mugs - I know it’s not normal mugs and needs to be sublimation mugs . I have seen packs online in the range or on Temu are these ok ? The cricut ones are so expensive !

I have a Cricut but haven’t done sublimation; I stick to vinyl. Have you got a FB account? If so, I strongly recommend that you have a look at one of the many Cricut for beginners sites. There are so many people on there who are really generous with their time and knowledge and will tell you exactly what you need and the best places to get it from.
